“If you water me, we grow together.”

Madame Gandhi’s words of wisdom about lifting up other women rang out through Stem HQ on Wednesday evening. Met with snaps and murmurs of agreement, the quote she shared perfectly summed up the debut installment of The 7%, a panel presented by TRAKGIRL & Stem.

Designed to highlight inspiring female songwriters, producers, engineers, artists & executives, The 7%’s first run did that and more. A conversation among TRAKGIRL, Madame Gandhi, Qveen Herby & Spotify’s Global Head of Songwriter Relations, Tiffany Kumar, left the audience of women and men inspired. Throughout the evening, the panelists shared thoughts on reaching equal gender representation in music, improving male-female alliances, understanding the simple importance of opening doors and much more.
